On a sunny Saturday on September 16, 2023, on the opening day of European Mobility Week (EMW), SmartMOVE took over the Congress Square in Ljubljana as a part of the Future Zero fair, which has been attracting mobility related technology enthusiasts to the heart of Ljubljana for several years now. SmartMOVE project was there to promote cycling on everyday journeys, especially at commuting to work.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Visitors to the fair had the opportunity to earn a SmartMOVE gift by briefly transforming into cyclists – in a fun way! They were offered an e-bike for a test ride, the activity focused on encouraging people to try e-cycling out, most of them enthusiastically discovering how comfortable it is. Both young and old had fun pedaling an old “Rog” bike, put on a stand – if they pedaled intensly enough, they would light up a connected lamp and earn a useful SmartMOVE accessory of their choice. The atmosphere around the SmartMOVE stand was relentlessly lively and the goal undoubtedly achieved – people momentarily felt the enjoyable sensation of cycling, whether on a regular or modern e-bike<\/strong>. We encouraged everyone to use their bicycles for more of their daily journeys, as well as informed them about the upcoming cycle of free educational workshops, starting in October 2023.<\/p>\n
